Question 1

What do front end 2018 BMW 5ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 863 recorded sales of the 2018 BMW 5ER with front end damage, the median was $8,100, from $4,900 to $13,500. That is 4% below the $8,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This BMW 5ER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How far is this BMW 5ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in VA - HAMPTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Norfolk, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 BMW 5ER. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 127,696 miles high for a 2018 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 BMW 5ER listings at auction averaged 89,671 miles across 1869 sales, so at 127,696 miles this one sits 42% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 BMW 5ER from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 BMW 5ER was listed at COPART as lot 73774026 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
