What do side 2018 BMW 5ER models sell for?

Across 144 recorded sales of the 2018 BMW 5ER with side damage, the median was $10,000, from $5,700 to $15,700. That is 20% above the $8,350 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $7,400 a good price for this 2018 BMW 5ER?

1897 comparable 2018 BMW 5ER listings sold at auction for a median of $8,350, spanning $4,950 to $13,400. At $7,400 this one went 11% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW 5ER sell for?

The insurer put this 2018 BMW 5ER's pre-damage retail value at $18,243. It sold for $7,400 — 59% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 BMW 5ER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

What does a non-repairable mean for this BMW 5ER?

This 2018 BMW 5ER was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Is 83,302 miles high for a 2018 BMW 5ER?

Comparable 2018 BMW 5ER listings at auction averaged 89,639 miles across 1897 sales, so at 83,302 miles this one sits 7% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
