Question 1

What do flood 2018 BMW 5ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2018 BMW 5ER with flood damage, the median was $7,700, from $5,300 to $11,100. That is 9% below the $8,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This BMW 5ER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 BMW 5ER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Who sold this 2018 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN WBAJB1C56JB083710?

Accepted Answer

WBAJB1C56JB083710 identifies this specific 2018 BMW 5ER with a 2.0l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, premium , 180hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 BMW 5ER from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 BMW 5ER was listed at IAAI as lot 46223275 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
