Question 1

What does a sk-mechanical & structural inspections required-saskatchewan mean for this BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 BMW 5ER was sold on a sk-mechanical & structural inspections required-saskatchewan. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 2

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BMW 5ER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This BMW 5ER has under carriage and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 93,827 miles high for a 2017 BMW 5ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 BMW 5ER listings at auction averaged 95,194 miles across 987 sales, so at 93,827 miles this one sits 1% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 BMW 5ER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with under carriage damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 BMW 5ER from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 BMW 5ER was listed at IAAI as lot 30059875 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
