What do side 2016 BMW 5ER models sell for?

Across 75 recorded sales of the 2016 BMW 5ER with side damage, the median was $4,550, from $3,050 to $7,250. That is 7% above the $4,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $9,100 a good price for this 2016 BMW 5ER?

964 comparable 2016 BMW 5ER listings sold at auction for a median of $4,250, spanning $3,150 to $6,950. At $9,100 this one went 114% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW 5ER sell for?

The insurer put this 2016 BMW 5ER's pre-damage retail value at $19,881. It sold for $9,100 — 54% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a salvage title mean for this BMW 5ER?

This 2016 BMW 5ER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Is 86,513 miles high for a 2016 BMW 5ER?

Comparable 2016 BMW 5ER listings at auction averaged 96,835 miles across 964 sales, so at 86,513 miles this one sits 11% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 BMW 5ER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
