What do front end 2016 BMW 5 SERIES models sell for?

Across 385 recorded sales of the 2016 BMW 5 SERIES with front end damage, the median was $4,200, from $3,150 to $6,800. That is 1% below the $4,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $4,175 a good price for this 2016 BMW 5 SERIES?

957 comparable 2016 BMW 5 SERIES listings sold at auction for a median of $4,250, spanning $3,150 to $7,000. At $4,175 this one went 2% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How far is this BMW 5 SERIES from an export port?

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - LOS ANGELES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 BMW 5 SERIES. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 72,278 miles high for a 2016 BMW 5 SERIES?

Comparable 2016 BMW 5 SERIES listings at auction averaged 96,733 miles across 957 sales, so at 72,278 miles this one sits 25% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Did this 2016 BMW 5 SERIES come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
