Question 1

What do flood 2019 BMW 4ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2019 BMW 4ER with flood damage, the median was $6,800, from $4,575 to $7,700. That is 3% above the $6,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,550 a good price for this 2019 BMW 4ER?

Accepted Answer

896 comparable 2019 BMW 4ER listings sold at auction for a median of $6,600, spanning $3,750 to $11,600. At $3,550 this one went 46% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this BMW 4ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 BMW 4ER was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this BMW 4ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - STATEN ISLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 BMW 4ER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 51,226 miles high for a 2019 BMW 4ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 BMW 4ER listings at auction averaged 75,011 miles across 896 sales, so at 51,226 miles this one sits 32% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
