What do rear end 2017 BMW 4ER models sell for?

Across 52 recorded sales of the 2017 BMW 4ER with rear end damage, the median was $6,100, from $3,750 to $10,500. That is 11% above the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $6,300 a good price for this 2017 BMW 4ER?

599 comparable 2017 BMW 4ER listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,500 to $9,300. At $6,300 this one went 15% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW 4ER sell for?

The insurer put this 2017 BMW 4ER's pre-damage retail value at $22,113. It sold for $6,300 — 72% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

How far is this BMW 4ER from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in SC - HARLEYVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BMW 4ER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 94,145 miles high for a 2017 BMW 4ER?

Comparable 2017 BMW 4ER listings at auction averaged 90,144 miles across 599 sales, so at 94,145 miles this one sits 4% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
