Question 1

What do front end 2017 BMW 4ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 273 recorded sales of the 2017 BMW 4ER with front end damage, the median was $5,475, from $3,300 to $9,300. That is level with the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,475 a good price for this 2017 BMW 4ER?

Accepted Answer

611 comparable 2017 BMW 4ER listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,500 to $9,300. At $3,475 this one went 37% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this BMW 4ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 BMW 4ER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this BMW 4ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - AMARILLO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This BMW 4ER has front end and normal wear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 146,538 miles high for a 2017 BMW 4ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 BMW 4ER listings at auction averaged 90,068 miles across 611 sales, so at 146,538 miles this one sits 63% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
