Question 1

What do side 2020 BMW 3ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 145 recorded sales of the 2020 BMW 3ER with side damage, the median was $10,200, from $6,800 to $14,900. That is 7% above the $9,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,800 a good price for this 2020 BMW 3ER?

Accepted Answer

1674 comparable 2020 BMW 3ER listings sold at auction for a median of $9,550, spanning $5,100 to $15,300. At $5,800 this one went 39% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW 3ER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 BMW 3ER's pre-damage retail value at $39,552. It sold for $5,800 — 85% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this BMW 3ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 BMW 3ER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 30,017 miles high for a 2020 BMW 3ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 BMW 3ER listings at auction averaged 65,524 miles across 1674 sales, so at 30,017 miles this one sits 54% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This BMW 3ER has side and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
