What do rear end 2020 BMW 3ER models sell for?

Across 155 recorded sales of the 2020 BMW 3ER with rear end damage, the median was $10,450, from $6,900 to $15,100. That is 10% above the $9,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $12,200 a good price for this 2020 BMW 3ER?

1682 comparable 2020 BMW 3ER listings sold at auction for a median of $9,500, spanning $5,100 to $15,225. At $12,200 this one went 28% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW 3ER sell for?

The insurer put this 2020 BMW 3ER's pre-damage retail value at $21,119. It sold for $12,200 — 42% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a salvage title mean for this BMW 3ER?

This 2020 BMW 3ER was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Is 72,406 miles high for a 2020 BMW 3ER?

Comparable 2020 BMW 3ER listings at auction averaged 65,651 miles across 1682 sales, so at 72,406 miles this one sits 10% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

How far is this BMW 3ER from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SUN VALLEY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
