Question 1

What does a qc-v.g.a-quebec mean for this BMW 3ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 BMW 3ER was sold on a qc-v.g.a-quebec. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 2

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BMW 3ER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This BMW 3ER has frame and front damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 62,114 miles high for a 2017 BMW 3ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 BMW 3ER listings at auction averaged 91,700 miles across 1272 sales, so at 62,114 miles this one sits 32% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Where was this BMW 3ER located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in QUEBEC - LAVAL. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WBA8D9G58HNU60192?

Accepted Answer

WBA8D9G58HNU60192 identifies this specific 2017 BMW 3ER in black with a 2.0l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, 248hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
