Question 1

This BMW 3ER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a sk-mechanical & structural inspections required-saskatchewan mean for this BMW 3ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 BMW 3ER was sold on a sk-mechanical & structural inspections required-saskatchewan. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BMW 3ER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 74,701 miles high for a 2017 BMW 3ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 BMW 3ER listings at auction averaged 91,701 miles across 1211 sales, so at 74,701 miles this one sits 19% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This BMW 3ER has front and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 BMW 3ER from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 BMW 3ER was listed at IAAI as lot 30058130 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
