Question 1

What does a ab-non-repairable-alberta mean for this BMW 3ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 BMW 3ER was sold on a ab-non-repairable-alberta. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 2

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BMW 3ER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This BMW 3ER has water and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Where was this BMW 3ER located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ALBERTA - ACHESON. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

Did this 2017 BMW 3ER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WBA8A3C54HK691040?

Accepted Answer

WBA8A3C54HK691040 identifies this specific 2017 BMW 3ER in white with a 2.0l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, premium , 184hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
