Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2021 BMW 2ER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2021 BMW 2ER with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $8,000, from $4,850 to $9,400. That is 28% above the $6,263 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,000 a good price for this 2021 BMW 2ER?

Accepted Answer

451 comparable 2021 BMW 2ER listings sold at auction for a median of $6,263, spanning $3,800 to $9,200. At $3,000 this one went 52% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This BMW 2ER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this BMW 2ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - LOS ANGELES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a clean title mean for this BMW 2ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 BMW 2ER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Is 136,289 miles high for a 2021 BMW 2ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 BMW 2ER listings at auction averaged 54,527 miles across 451 sales, so at 136,289 miles this one sits 150% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
