Question 1

Was $3,350 a good price for this 2016 BMW 2ER?

Accepted Answer

140 comparable 2016 BMW 2ER listings sold at auction for a median of $4,100, spanning $3,100 to $6,600. At $3,350 this one went 18% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this BMW 2ER sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 BMW 2ER's pre-damage retail value at $13,490. It sold for $3,350 — 75% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this BMW 2ER?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 BMW 2ER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 BMW 2ER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this BMW 2ER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MA - NORTH BILLERICA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 220 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $275-$400, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 121,389 miles high for a 2016 BMW 2ER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 BMW 2ER listings at auction averaged 78,738 miles across 140 sales, so at 121,389 miles this one sits 54% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
