Question 1

What does a clear mean for this VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 VOLVO XC90 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 2

This VOLVO XC90 has engine damage and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 175,911 miles high for a 2016 VOLVO XC90?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 VOLVO XC90 listings at auction averaged 122,752 miles across 1450 sales, so at 175,911 miles this one sits 43% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2016 VOLVO XC90 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with engine damage damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2016 VOLVO XC90 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 VOLVO XC90 was listed at IAAI as lot 46237221 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN YV4A22PK8G1066671?

Accepted Answer
