Question 1

What do front end 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 53 recorded sales of the 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT with front end damage, the median was $3,400, from $3,125 to $4,300. That is 4% below the $3,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,450 a good price for this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

144 comparable 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings sold at auction for a median of $3,550, spanning $3,100 to $4,850. At $3,450 this one went 3% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT has front end and left front damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 119,275 miles high for a 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT listings at auction averaged 79,265 miles across 144 sales, so at 119,275 miles this one sits 50% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2019 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
