Question 1

What do vandalism 2016 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2016 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER with vandalism damage, the median was $7,800, from $6,000 to $10,000. That is 11% above the $7,050 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This TOYOTA HIGHLANDER has vandalism and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 145,836 miles high for a 2016 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER listings at auction averaged 132,676 miles across 3322 sales, so at 145,836 miles this one sits 10% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
