Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 71 recorded sales of the 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $4,775, from $3,300 to $9,800. That is 22% above the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,200 a good price for this 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

5551 comparable 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,100 to $5,500. At $5,200 this one went 33% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this TOYOTA COROLLA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA's pre-damage retail value at $9,460. It sold for $5,200 — 45% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

This TOYOTA COROLLA has minor dent/scratches and mechanical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 128,856 miles high for a 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 TOYOTA COROLLA listings at auction averaged 108,119 miles across 5551 sales, so at 128,856 miles this one sits 19% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
