Question 1

What do front & rear 2022 TESLA MODEL Y models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 69 recorded sales of the 2022 TESLA MODEL Y with front & rear damage, the median was $9,450, from $4,400 to $12,900. That is 4% below the $9,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 TESLA MODEL Y. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This TESLA MODEL Y has front & rear and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 97,471 miles high for a 2022 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 TESLA MODEL Y listings at auction averaged 56,758 miles across 4416 sales, so at 97,471 miles this one sits 72% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2022 TESLA MODEL Y come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front & rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2022 TESLA MODEL Y from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2022 TESLA MODEL Y was listed at IAAI as lot 46245440 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
