Question 1

What do rear 2021 TESLA MODEL Y models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 189 recorded sales of the 2021 TESLA MODEL Y with rear damage, the median was $9,263, from $5,250 to $13,600. That is 12% above the $8,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,500 a good price for this 2021 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

3809 comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL Y listings sold at auction for a median of $8,300, spanning $4,900 to $12,600. At $8,500 this one went 2% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 TESLA MODEL Y was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this TESLA MODEL Y from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in GA - LAKE CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This TESLA MODEL Y has rear and right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 106,009 miles high for a 2021 TESLA MODEL Y?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL Y listings at auction averaged 67,138 miles across 3809 sales, so at 106,009 miles this one sits 58% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
