Question 1

What do water/flood 2021 TESLA MODEL S models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2021 TESLA MODEL S with water/flood damage, the median was $12,700, from $9,700 to $25,000. That is 5% below the $13,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $14,000 a good price for this 2021 TESLA MODEL S?

Accepted Answer

484 comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL S listings sold at auction for a median of $13,400, spanning $6,350 to $21,350. At $14,000 this one went 4% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This TESLA MODEL S sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 TESLA MODEL S. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How much below its undamaged value did this TESLA MODEL S sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2021 TESLA MODEL S's pre-damage retail value at $52,258. It sold for $14,000 — 73% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 6

Is 28,648 miles high for a 2021 TESLA MODEL S?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL S listings at auction averaged 52,806 miles across 484 sales, so at 28,648 miles this one sits 46% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
