Question 1

Was $21,350 a good price for this 2021 TESLA MODEL S?

Accepted Answer

484 comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL S listings sold at auction for a median of $13,400, spanning $6,350 to $21,350. At $21,350 this one went 59% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this TESLA MODEL S?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 TESLA MODEL S was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this TESLA MODEL S from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in VA - LATIMORE TOWNSHIP. The nearest major vehicle export port is Norfolk, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 60,750 miles high for a 2021 TESLA MODEL S?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 TESLA MODEL S listings at auction averaged 52,806 miles across 484 sales, so at 60,750 miles this one sits 15% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This TESLA MODEL S has flood and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Did this 2021 TESLA MODEL S come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
