Question 1

What do front end 2016 TESLA MODEL S models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 470 recorded sales of the 2016 TESLA MODEL S with front end damage, the median was $4,800, from $3,300 to $7,200. That is 2% below the $4,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a salvage title mean for this TESLA MODEL S?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 TESLA MODEL S was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this TESLA MODEL S from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in WA - SPANAWAY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 121,471 miles high for a 2016 TESLA MODEL S?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 TESLA MODEL S listings at auction averaged 105,352 miles across 1022 sales, so at 121,471 miles this one sits 15% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 TESLA MODEL S. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Who sold this 2016 TESLA MODEL S?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was USAA. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
