Question 1

What do front end 2016 TESLA MODEL S models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 470 recorded sales of the 2016 TESLA MODEL S with front end damage, the median was $4,800, from $3,300 to $7,200. That is 2% below the $4,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

How far is this TESLA MODEL S from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NY - BROOKHAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

Is 145,818 miles high for a 2016 TESLA MODEL S?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 TESLA MODEL S listings at auction averaged 105,352 miles across 1022 sales, so at 145,818 miles this one sits 38% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2016 TESLA MODEL S come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2016 TESLA MODEL S from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 TESLA MODEL S was listed at COPART as lot 74442186 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
