Question 1

What do hail 2017 NISSAN MURANO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 49 recorded sales of the 2017 NISSAN MURANO with hail damage, the median was $4,988, from $3,250 to $8,300. That is 38% above the $3,625 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,475 a good price for this 2017 NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

553 comparable 2017 NISSAN MURANO listings sold at auction for a median of $3,625, spanning $3,050 to $5,600. At $4,475 this one went 23% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 NISSAN MURANO was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this NISSAN MURANO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OH - NEW PHILADELPHIA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 107,327 miles high for a 2017 NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 NISSAN MURANO listings at auction averaged 91,034 miles across 553 sales, so at 107,327 miles this one sits 18% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 NISSAN MURANO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
