Question 1

This NISSAN MURANO sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 NISSAN MURANO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 74,634 miles high for a 2017 NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 NISSAN MURANO listings at auction averaged 91,020 miles across 564 sales, so at 74,634 miles this one sits 18% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2017 NISSAN MURANO?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5N1AZ2MH5HN154123?

Accepted Answer

5N1AZ2MH5HN154123 identifies this specific 2017 NISSAN MURANO in white with a 3.5l v-6 dohc, vvt, regular , 260hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 NISSAN MURANO from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 NISSAN MURANO was listed at IAAI as lot 46269059 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
