Question 1

Was $6,500 a good price for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS?

Accepted Answer

104 comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,300, spanning $3,250 to $8,300. At $6,500 this one went 23% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in OR - PORTLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS has mechanical and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 187,364 miles high for a 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS listings at auction averaged 121,799 miles across 104 sales, so at 187,364 miles this one sits 54% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
