Question 1

Was $3,200 a good price for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS?

Accepted Answer

103 comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,300, spanning $3,250 to $8,300. At $3,200 this one went 40% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NJ - HILLSBOROUGH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 30 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ METRIS was listed at COPART as lot 71725455 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
