Question 1

What do all over 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 24 recorded sales of the 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS with all over damage, the median was $6,300, from $3,800 to $10,000. That is 26% below the $8,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,400 a good price for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

1522 comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,500, spanning $4,600 to $14,100. At $4,400 this one went 48% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $41,176. It sold for $4,400 — 89% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

What does a salvage certificate mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS was sold on a salvage certificate. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
