What do all over 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS models sell for?

Across 23 recorded sales of the 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS with all over damage, the median was $8,000, from $3,800 to $14,300. That is 2% below the $8,125 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $6,800 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

1666 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,125, spanning $4,650 to $13,700. At $6,800 this one went 16% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

This MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS sold without keys — does that matter?

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in GA - ATLANTA EAST. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS sell for?

The insurer put this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $19,046. It sold for $6,800 — 64% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Is 59,023 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS listings at auction averaged 113,905 miles across 1666 sales, so at 59,023 miles this one sits 48% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
