Question 1

What do water/flood 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 30 recorded sales of the 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS with water/flood damage, the median was $23,050, from $17,700 to $38,000. That is 1% below the $23,375 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $29,500 a good price for this 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

999 comparable 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $23,375, spanning $12,500 to $35,800. At $29,500 this one went 26% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $53,988. It sold for $29,500 — 45% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

Is 44,565 miles high for a 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS listings at auction averaged 47,423 miles across 999 sales, so at 44,565 miles this one sits 6% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in OK - OKLAHOMA CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 450 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$550, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Did this 2022 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water/flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
