What do water/flood 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS models sell for?

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS with water/flood damage, the median was $6,900, from $4,050 to $14,400. That is 19% below the $8,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $10,200 a good price for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

1522 comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,500, spanning $4,600 to $14,100. At $10,200 this one went 20% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS sell for?

The insurer put this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $38,352. It sold for $10,200 — 73% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in GA - ATLANTA EAST. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Is 36,693 miles high for a 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

Comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS listings at auction averaged 101,645 miles across 1522 sales, so at 36,693 miles this one sits 64% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
