Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 256 recorded sales of the 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $10,500, from $7,100 to $18,500. That is 30% above the $8,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,700 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

1675 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,100, spanning $4,650 to $13,700. At $13,700 this one went 69% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a dis/dlr/exp only clean title mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS was sold on a dis/dlr/exp only clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 190,063 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS listings at auction averaged 114,039 miles across 1675 sales, so at 190,063 miles this one sits 67% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SAN BERNARDINO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
