What do front end 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS models sell for?

Was $11,300 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

1670 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $8,125, spanning $4,650 to $13,700. At $11,300 this one went 39% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS sell for?

The insurer put this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $19,637. It sold for $11,300 — 42% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in NY - NEWBURGH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Is 107,446 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS?

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS listings at auction averaged 113,926 miles across 1670 sales, so at 107,446 miles this one sits 6% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE-CLASS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
