Question 1

What do left rear 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE with left rear damage, the median was $7,225, from $4,950 to $11,200. That is 15% below the $8,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a bill of sale mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WA - PUYALLUP. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 93,309 miles high for a 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings at auction averaged 108,015 miles across 1538 sales, so at 93,309 miles this one sits 14% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This MERCEDES-BENZ GLE has left rear and theft damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
