What do all over 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE models sell for?

Across 21 recorded sales of the 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE with all over damage, the median was $6,450, from $3,300 to $12,100. That is 29% below the $9,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $8,000 a good price for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

1562 comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE listings sold at auction for a median of $9,100, spanning $5,450 to $14,600. At $8,000 this one went 12% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE sell for?

The insurer put this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE's pre-damage retail value at $34,361. It sold for $8,000 — 77% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a cert of title-salvage mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE?

This 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE was sold on a cert of title-salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ GLE from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in GA - LOGANVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
