What do mechanical 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS models sell for?

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS with mechanical damage, the median was $4,550, from $3,250 to $7,000. That is 5% below the $4,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $17,400 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

938 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,800, spanning $3,350 to $7,525. At $17,400 this one went 263% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS sell for?

The insurer put this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $65,000. It sold for $17,400 — 73% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 114,935 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 97,815 miles across 938 sales, so at 114,935 miles this one sits 18% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS has mechanical and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
