Question 1

What do front end 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 647 recorded sales of the 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS with front end damage, the median was $8,900, from $4,600 to $13,400. That is 3% below the $9,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $17,300 a good price for this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

1379 comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $9,200, spanning $5,100 to $14,600. At $17,300 this one went 88% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $50,958. It sold for $17,300 — 66% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

Is 57,457 miles high for a 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 79,959 miles across 1379 sales, so at 57,457 miles this one sits 28% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does a cert of title slvg rebuildable mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS was sold on a cert of title slvg rebuildable. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 6

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
