What do front end 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS models sell for?

Across 415 recorded sales of the 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS with front end damage, the median was $4,600, from $3,300 to $7,100. That is 4% below the $4,775 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $7,800 a good price for this 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

930 comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $4,775, spanning $3,325 to $7,500. At $7,800 this one went 63% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS sold without keys — does that matter?

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS has front end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Is 139,855 miles high for a 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Comparable 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 97,693 miles across 930 sales, so at 139,855 miles this one sits 43% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

What does a certificate of title (p) mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

This 2016 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS was sold on a certificate of title (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.
