Question 1

Was $8,000 a good price for this 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

79 comparable 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,800, spanning $4,100 to $8,300. At $8,000 this one went 38% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $23,053. It sold for $8,000 — 65% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a salvage (mississippi) mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS was sold on a salvage (mississippi). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS has left front and damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 65,711 miles high for a 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 89,806 miles across 79 sales, so at 65,711 miles this one sits 27% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2015 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was State Farm Group Insurance. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
