Question 1

What do front end 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 277 recorded sales of the 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS with front end damage, the median was $16,100, from $8,300 to $23,700. That is 4% below the $16,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $33,500 a good price for this 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

574 comparable 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $16,800, spanning $8,600 to $24,200. At $33,500 this one went 99% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a certificate of title (p) mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS was sold on a certificate of title (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 36,258 miles high for a 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 49,488 miles across 574 sales, so at 36,258 miles this one sits 27% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - MIAMI CENTRAL. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
