Question 1

What do front end 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 522 recorded sales of the 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS with front end damage, the median was $10,000, from $4,850 to $15,900. That is 5% below the $10,488 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $16,900 a good price for this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

1110 comparable 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $10,488, spanning $5,300 to $16,600. At $16,900 this one went 61% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a certificate of title (p) mean for this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS was sold on a certificate of title (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MA - NORTH BOSTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 220 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $275-$400, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 37,195 miles high for a 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 70,472 miles across 1110 sales, so at 37,195 miles this one sits 47% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
