Was $17,600 a good price for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

2005 comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings sold at auction for a median of $7,500, spanning $4,150 to $11,500. At $17,600 this one went 135% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS sell for?

The insurer put this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS's pre-damage retail value at $35,349. It sold for $17,600 — 50% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

This MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS has front & rear and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Is 66,302 miles high for a 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS?

Comparable 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS listings at auction averaged 91,631 miles across 2005 sales, so at 66,302 miles this one sits 28% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Did this 2017 MERCEDES-BENZ E-CLASS come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front & rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
