What do rear end 2023 MAZDA CX-9 models sell for?

Across 32 recorded sales of the 2023 MAZDA CX-9 with rear end damage, the median was $9,100, from $6,000 to $11,400. That is 10% above the $8,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $6,600 a good price for this 2023 MAZDA CX-9?

426 comparable 2023 MAZDA CX-9 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,250, spanning $4,500 to $14,000. At $6,600 this one went 20% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA CX-9 sell for?

The insurer put this 2023 MAZDA CX-9's pre-damage retail value at $29,229. It sold for $6,600 — 77% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a salvage title mean for this MAZDA CX-9?

This 2023 MAZDA CX-9 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 MAZDA CX-9. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 15,013 miles high for a 2023 MAZDA CX-9?

Comparable 2023 MAZDA CX-9 listings at auction averaged 41,179 miles across 426 sales, so at 15,013 miles this one sits 64% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
