Question 1

What do front end 2020 MAZDA CX-9 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 165 recorded sales of the 2020 MAZDA CX-9 with front end damage, the median was $4,950, from $3,350 to $7,600. That is 10% below the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,500 a good price for this 2020 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

355 comparable 2020 MAZDA CX-9 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,500 to $8,600. At $6,500 this one went 18% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA CX-9 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 MAZDA CX-9's pre-damage retail value at $15,411. It sold for $6,500 — 58% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a non-repairable mean for this MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MAZDA CX-9 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 MAZDA CX-9. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This MAZDA CX-9 has front end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
