Question 1

What do front end 2021 MAZDA CX-9 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 328 recorded sales of the 2021 MAZDA CX-9 with front end damage, the median was $5,600, from $3,350 to $8,700. That is 11% below the $6,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,900 a good price for this 2021 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

677 comparable 2021 MAZDA CX-9 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,300, spanning $3,600 to $10,100. At $8,900 this one went 41% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This MAZDA CX-9 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 MAZDA CX-9. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 1 miles high for a 2021 MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 MAZDA CX-9 listings at auction averaged 66,219 miles across 677 sales, so at 1 miles this one sits 100% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a salvage-ga mean for this MAZDA CX-9?

Accepted Answer

This 2021 MAZDA CX-9 was sold on a salvage-ga. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
