Question 1

What do rear end 2019 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 284 recorded sales of the 2019 MAZDA CX-5 with rear end damage, the median was $5,700, from $3,950 to $8,200. That is 12% above the $5,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,800 a good price for this 2019 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

2658 comparable 2019 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,100, spanning $3,500 to $7,500. At $8,800 this one went 73% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA CX-5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 MAZDA CX-5's pre-damage retail value at $20,808. It sold for $8,800 — 58% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 49,749 miles high for a 2019 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 MAZDA CX-5 listings at auction averaged 79,148 miles across 2658 sales, so at 49,749 miles this one sits 37% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 MAZDA CX-5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
