Question 1

What do water/flood 2020 MAZDA CX-5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 17 recorded sales of the 2020 MAZDA CX-5 with water/flood damage, the median was $6,100, from $3,750 to $8,800. That is 12% above the $5,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,100 a good price for this 2020 MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

2259 comparable 2020 MAZDA CX-5 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,450, spanning $3,600 to $8,100. At $5,100 this one went 6% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This MAZDA CX-5 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this MAZDA CX-5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 MAZDA CX-5's pre-damage retail value at $17,589. It sold for $5,100 — 71% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

How far is this MAZDA CX-5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - RIVERVIEW. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What does a non-repairable mean for this MAZDA CX-5?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 MAZDA CX-5 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.
